Hi, I’m Son Tran — a Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Assistant Camera, and Gaffer based in Hanoi, Vietnam. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Film and TV Production from Missouri State University (Class of 2023).​

I believe powerful storytelling goes beyond dialogue and performance. Through thoughtful lighting and camera work, I aim to express what words cannot and enhance what they can. My visual approach is grounded in six years of hands-on experience in the U.S., spanning features, shorts, documentaries, and mini-series. I bring both technical skill and creative vision to every set I work on.
